Event Testimonials
I am delighted to be speaking at this year’s Sustainable Skies World Summit. Sustainable Aviation Fuel is the key to reducing aviation’s carbon footprint over the coming decades, and the Government will mandate that at least 10% SAF to be blended into conventional aviation fuels by the end of the decade. I am looking forward to sharing my views on what more the UK needs to do in order to move from making commitments on SAF, to delivering on them.

I am very excited as the Sustainable Skies World Summit attracts so many colleagues and partners in the field which I am looking forward to meeting in person (after having e-met many of them already). It will be great to hear the latest developments and share own experiences for the greater good. There is so much we can do together for sustainable aviation

Sustainability is a key priority for Singapore’s aviation sector. CAAS is developing a Singapore Sustainable Air Hub Blueprint to provide a decarbonisation roadmap for the Singapore air hub. Collaboration among government and industry stakeholders to drive key initiatives to support climate actions is pivotal. I am excited to be part of these conversations at the 2023 Sustainable World Skies Summit which brings together stakeholders to share our efforts in building a sustainable aviation eco-system in Singapore.

Embracing these innovations is not just a choice; it's a necessity for a smarter, more connected, and greener world. We are at a crucial stage where we need to design the ecosystem for seamless uptake of these technologies.

Sustainable Skies is an important forum to push forward the development of clean aviation and to ensure we can have a more connected world in the future, while also reducing climate impact. There will be amazing developments to explore in detail given recent breakthroughs in zero-emission flight, including our own world first hydrogen-electric flight. It is also superb that the event is open to a wider audience this year, as this is an urgent problem that impacts us all.

Regulators like EASA must stay abreast latest AAM trends and developments, so that they regulate first what industry needs first.
